When someone makes a contribution through Givecloud, a supporter profile is created for them. They have the option to create a password for their profile so they can login in future.
Having a profile is beneficial for the supporter to be able to login to what we call their “portal” and be able to manage their own payments and payment methods along with updating any of their information.
There are many settings that you can optionally enable/disable in the portal. You will find these settings under Settings > Supporter Preferences in your admin section.
