The most important step you need to take before you can start receiving contributions through Givecloud is to connect your payment gateway and disconnect the Givecloud test payment gateway. You won’t be able to receive contributions without doing this step.
While your website is still in test mode and connected to our test payment gateway we recommend placing a couple of test contributions to get yourself familiar with the system and how the information flows through. Once you’re ready to go live with your website and start receiving contributions, you will need to disable the Givecloud test gateway and make sure your live payment gateway is connected.
